Our daughter’s wedding in August went well. The bride, bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride had a lovely swim in the morning of the Big Day – carrying on a family tradition!
Since then we have been trying to return to Planet Earth. Paul has been stoically carrying on working – teaching Abstract and Contemporary Art is not without its difficulties! He has also set up an exhibition at the Devonport Guildhall – read all about it here.
We have also competed in the World Belly Board Championships at Chapel Porth …
and camped in the van on the cliffs in deepest darkest Cornwall and surfed until we ached….
Paul is about ready to start back at Studio 99 again now. I just have to squeeze in swimming from the Breakwater to Tinside tomorrow for the Chestnut Appeal (find out more here) and maybe persuade him to go for another surf on Sunday.
Paul’s students start the Autumn Term this coming week – welcome everyone!
